Commissioned Artwork : Header for "DESIGNER AROUND US"

The sketch so called, before editing phase

The final outcome with some colour enhancement using ADOBE

Snapshot of the Designer Around Us page

This design was inspired by transforming the power of unbounded ideas among designers around the globe into earthling elements, which explains why there are birds in sky and fishes in water. These freedom and powerful symbolism in both the water and the air , it defined how the creativity could reach beyond the sky and the meaning could be as deep as blue ocean. Geometric patterns, impressive soft-pink roses, flowing lines, described the quality of the designers in term of imagination, innovation, creativity, and magnificent colours yet defined the real world of people in this art-field. The appearance of small head-sketch at the right bottom of the header - could only means the next designer extraordinaire - YOU!

So, next step why dont you just go to Designer Around Us site, and read through the contents. Indeed this website is really good. Thumbs up! :)

Agony

This piece was my first trial on using colour pencils that I bought using the BB1M vouchers. Yeah, I bought set of watercolours too. *lame.  For this time being, do not expect much cause I am not that familiar enough to experiment with the colours combination, but the basic colours still helping me a lot in order to come out with this so called artwork.
Like here, I was working on pastels scheme along with dark tone. And it comes with a quote from Joseph Addison that I found interesting to tag along with the piece :D

It is only imperfection that complains of what is imperfect. The more perfect we are the more gentle and quiet we become towards the defects of others

Sketch on the fabric

This post actually regarding to my first attempt do sketch on a fabric. To be specific on my pajama actually. But it is okay as the result is not that bad as I expected earlier on. The problem here is I am not sure about the pen used while transferring the image on the fabric. I guess there are specialized pen for this sort of DIY! So, success with the project thingy now will be back with the real project of using iron paper! Check it out! :D

Ok people! Have a good day ahead :)

Cat

Cat! Yes it is. The different for this artwork is not showing the typical cat, instead it is a girl with a cat kind a look. From the photo below, it will be transformed to a cute catgirl as you scroll to the bottom.

Cat

The imaginary feline traits are reside inside the girl such as the dazzle and shining crystal eyes, a pair of cat ears and the small little nose on her face. Beautiful is a must for the character.

Cat

This artwork was inspired by looking to the stray cats that always abandoned by their owners. By the way, for those who are taking care their pets well, well-done guys!

The Lady in Roses

Hi Guys,

This is another piece from me and now I am a bit crazy with the halftone technique. It does make your drawing looking damn good. For real! So, as in my planning maybe in the next few days or weeks perhaps, I will reveal the best of Vanitas!
vanitas, ( Latin , "vanity" ) Still Life, oil on wood by Willem Claesz Heda, 1634; in the Museum …
[Credit: Museum Boymans-van Beuningen, Rotterdam]in art, a genre of still-life painting that flourished in the Netherlands in the early 17th century. Avanitas painting contains collections of objects symbolic of the inevitability of death and the transience and vanity of earthly achievements and pleasures; it exhorts the viewer to consider mortality and to repent. The vanitas evolved from simple picture of skulls and other symbols of death and transience frequently painted on the reverse sides of portraits during the late Renaissance. It had acquired an independent status by c. 1550 and by 1620 had become a popular genre.See more here.

Yup, I already linked the blog owned by one of the Vanitas artist: Fernando Vicente. And here also, I provided with video on how to do halftone dot effects on your image/drawing and credit to Glazefolio Design Blog. Check these blogs out!

Below is the only Lady in Roses!
